I am pleased to announce that the Connecticut Science Fair has
five semifinalists in the 2000 Discovery Young Scientist Challenge
(DYSC). This middle school competition has 400 semifinalists.
Forty will be selected as finalists and win a week long trip to
Washington, DC to compete in the final round. Last year CSF
has one finalist. Finalists will be announced September 18.

On behalf of the Board of Directors, our thanks and congratulations
go out to Patricia Frazioli for her efforts in administering this
program for our fair.
We are very proud of semifinalists accomplishments and recognize
the work of their teachers/advisors in supporting their students.
