CSF - Connecticut Science Fair

Students must be fifth grade or higher. A visit length of 1 hour is suggested. No food services are available at Quinnipiac University due to Spring Break. You will have to make arrangements to eat elsewhere off-campus. A list of local restaurants can found here.

The following rules have been established to protect the work of our young scientists and engineers.

Teachers/chaperones are first and foremost responsible for the supervision of their students.
The ratio of students to chaperones is to be no more than:

Elementary and Middle School: 8:1
High School Level: 10:1
Teachers/chaperones are to be present in the exhibit area with their students at all times.
Running, skipping, pushing, fighting, shouting, etc. are not permitted.
Touching projects, awards, or any equipment associated with the Connecticut Science Fair is prohibited.
Food and beverages are not allowed in the exhibit area.
All students must wear a name tag indicating the student's name, school, and name of teacher.

Connecticut Science Fair supervisory personnel retain the authority to enforce these rules and to remove anyone whose behavior is not consistent with these standards.

Science Show LIMITED TO FIRST 500 TO REGISTER- 250 PER SHOW
There will be a one hour science demonstration of physics magic by Demos "R" Us, at 10:00 and 11:30 AM. Seating is available on a first come, first served basis. Reserve your space when you complete online registration.

BioBus The BioBus staff invites you to come onboard the BioBus at the Connecticut Science Fair for a hands-on bioscience experience! The BioBus will be parked outside the Recreation Center. Be sure and have your school group pay a visit.

SIGN UP FOR SCHOOL VISITS
You must receive confirmation from us for your group to attend. Time slots will be granted on a first-come, first served basis. CSF reserves the right to modify or cancel the visits and the Science Show if response is low.
